Teamed up with my boy and planned an entire Juneteenth Celebration for my city (Jersey City), and beautiful is a word that does not even describe what happend our there for me.... so much love, so much life, so much black culture, food, education, rallying, double Dutch, hairbraiding, art, food, and did I say LOVE already? Lol... My city needed this and I’m so glad that God blessed my team and I to carry this out (DESPITE THE COPS TRYING TO SHUT US DOWN SINCE WE STARTED SETTING UP!)... we were united on ALLL FRONTS, and despite people from different hoods being in attendance, there was no violence, negativity, and we policed ourselves!!!!!!! I say all that to say, I hope this encourages anyone to just simply DO!!... Let’s all focus on progressing our BLACK! 🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤✊🏾
